A crowd filled with local and international patrons descended upon the village of Buccoo as the area celebrated its Heritage Festival with their ‘Goat Races and Night Market’ event.

The day’s events included aerobics, a fishing competition, reef tours, horse-back riding and of course, the exciting racing of the goats and crabs. Several community icons and groups were also appreciated throughout the day, for contributing to the village’s cultural heritage. They were: the Johnson Family (the main Reef Tour Operators from the village), Fitzroy Hendrix Parris (Founder of Buccoo Sunday School) and the Buccooneers Steel Orchestra.

The day ended with a cultural show and Night Market.
